Fresh off big wins last Fall, featherweights Darren Elkins and Chas Skelly will meet in Las Vegas on Saturday, March 5 as part of the stacked UFC 197 card at the MGM Grand Garden Arena.
Winner of four straight, a streak that includes finishes of Tom Niinimaki, Jim Alers and Kevin Souza, Skelly could make his way into the featherweight top 15 over longtime 145-pound standout Elkins, who most recently scored a three-round unanimous decision win over Robert Whiteford in Dublin last October.
Tickets for UFC 197, which is headlined by the lightweight title fight between Rafael dos Anjos and Conor McGregor and the women's bantamweight title bout between Holly Holm and Miesha Tate, go on sale on January 22.
